Lindsay Moore, owner of Shear Heaven in Dublin, has been a hairstylist for 30 years.
When she began losing her hair a few years ago, her mission to help women look and feel their best took on a new direction.
“Over the years, I’ve been blessed with a thriving business, a loving husband and two wonderful boys,” Lindsay told Beneath the Surface News.
“My journey in the beauty industry has always been about helping women feel confident and beautiful, but a personal struggle deepened my passion even more.
“A few years ago, I began facing challenges with my hormones and thyroid, which led to significant hair loss.”
When she began noticing that many of her clients were experiencing similar struggles - whether from cancer, alopecia, hereditary hair loss, thyroid issues or other conditions – it weighed heavily on her heart.
Today, Lindsay specializes in helping women struggling with hair loss by fitting them with wigs and hair toppers.
“Wigs have come a long way,” Lindsay said.
“They are lightweight and have a lace front so they look natural. I specialize in fitting them perfectly to each individual.”
