This dog has anxiety and needs a home with lots of love.

Llano

Llano, a one to two-year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier, is one of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

“He is a very sweet boy who came in as a stray and was never claimed,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

Llano does well on a leash and gets along with other dogs, but does have anxiety.

“He snuggles his blanket and suckles on it like a baby,” Serena said. “He has been at the shelter since February.”

Llano also loves car rides, treats, music and going on walks and will flourish in a home where there is lots of love.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. Ashton is a two to three-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“She is very sweet and loves people, but she is not a fan of other cats,” Serena said.

Ashton

Ashton is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.

She has been at the animal shelter since April.

If you would like to meet Llano, Ashton or the other 86 dogs and 71 cats that need homes, stop by the shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
