This big, beautiful Great Pyrenees has 100 pounds of love to give.

Blizzard

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Blizzard, a two-year-old male Great Pyrenees.

“He is a large boy weighing in at close to 100 pounds,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He is a beautiful, sweet boy that was found as a stray and not reclaimed.

“He has not been dog tested yet, but is terrified of cats. He knows how to open gate latches with his nose. He would probably do best as an outside dog with a job to do, since he is not used to being inside.”

Blizzard loves hugs and attention.

He is partially vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Alfie is a two-year-old male domestic longhair.

“He is a very friendly boy that loves to be pet, but not picked up,” Serena said. “He does not like loud voices and would probably do best in a home without children.

“When he feels comfortable, he will rub his head against you for attention.”

Alfie is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, litterbox trained and should be kept inside.
