Sweet Catahoula mix loves a good squeaky toy and this cat likes alone time.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Chopper, a two to three-year-old male Catahoula mix.
“He is super sweet and loves to cuddle,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He has tons of energy and loves to run around and play with squeaky toys.”
Chopper is treat-motivated and knows how to sit. He is an inside dog and crate-trained.
Chopper was adopted from the shelter in January 2020, but returned in June because he began showing aggression toward another unaltered male.
He has since been neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
Stripes is a seven-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“She loves attention,” Serena said. “She was surrendered and was not happy about being here. For a while, she was very angry and would lash out, but since we moved her away from other cats, she is super sweet.
Stripes absolutely despises other animals and should be in a single pet home.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, litter box trained and microchipped.
