Stress is causing this sweet cat to pull out his hair. He needs a loving home now.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society includes Lane, a one to two-year-old male domestic shorthair cat.
“He is a friendly, lovable boy that absolutely loves attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News “But he is stressed here at the shelter and has started pulling out his hair. He is very handsome, but looks a little rough right now due to hair loss.”
Lane is litter box trained and microchipped.
Sophie is a two to three-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix.
“She is good on a leash, but can be shy with new people, especially men and people with hats,” Serena said. “She has not shown any aggression and is very submissive. She does well with other dogs, but not cats.”
Sophie is heartworm negative and on prevention.
If you would like to meet Lane, Sophie or the other 67 dogs and 59 cats that need new homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
