Stephenville Downtown Merchants to ring in the Christmas shopping season with holiday open house.

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

Julianne's, located on the Erath County Courthouse square, is ready for the holiday shopping season.

The Stephenville Downtown Merchants are ringing in the Christmas shopping season this week with a holiday open house on Friday.

The festive event is one of my favorites and will include refreshments, entertainment, and of course, the opportunity to do lots of shopping.

Businesses will be decked out for Christmas and stay open late to give you plenty of time to browse.

“We are having a popup Kendra Scott shop that will benefit Meals on Wheels of Erath County,” Julie Thomas, owner of Julianne’s told Beneath the Surface News. “We will also have door prizes, food and drinks.”

And Julianne’s isn’t the only one jumping into the Christmas spirit.

Julie Lowrance, owner of Frames Etc, said most businesses will offer wine, snacks and festive fun.

“We will have goodie bags and door prizes too,” she said.

Willow’s Scarlet Ribbon will host a drawing for a gorgeous holiday basket and Hearsay Wine Bar will have appetizers and giveaways.

And whatever you do, make sure to stop by the beautiful Scott’s Flowers to check out their holiday gifts and displays, which are always exquisite.

The event will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12.

Other participating businesses include Caam’s, Greer’s Ranch Cafe, SlimPickins, Brush and Blush Salon, Ben Franklin, Pinspiration, Cowboy Way Travel, Punchy’s, Senior Citizens Center, Newton’s Cellar, Leslie Walker’s Farmer’s Insurance Agency, Blue-Eyed Buffalo, Bangs and Co. Salon and Root and Roam.

It’s going to be a beautiful night and I can hardly wait!

See you there!
