One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Sunnie, a 1 ½-year-old female Pyrenees/Great Dane mix.
“Sunnie was surrendered through no fault of her own and is ready to brighten someone’s life just like her name,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“This sweet girl is an all-around wonderful dog who gets along with everyone — kids, cats, people, goats, and other dogs.
“She already knows basic commands and is crate-trained, making her an easy addition to just about any home.”
Sunnie’s gentle, loving personality is sure to make the perfect new family member.
She is spayed, partially vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
Her adopter will need to have her rabies updated.
Juno is a one-year-old female cat.
“Juno is a sweet and curious girl who spent quite some time as a stray before coming to us,” Serena said.

“When she arrived, she was battling mastitis and ringworm, but she’s now healthy and ready for her forever home.”
Juno loves attention and can’t resist a good head scratch.
She’s shown curiosity toward other cats and hasn’t seemed to mind them, although she hasn’t been around dogs.
Juno is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox trained.
