One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Maizel.

“She is a really sweet girl that loves running and playing with other dogs and kids,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She has never met a stranger.”

Maizel is house and crate-trained, and does well when left alone inside.

“She enjoys riding in a car and knows basic commands,” Serena said. “She hasn't been on a leash much and still needs some work.”

Maizel has received DHPP and Bordetella vaccines, but is due for rabies.

She is spayed and microchipped.

Malibu is a one to two-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“She is a friendly girl that needs a little time to settle in,” Serena said. “She loves scratches and head pats.”

Malibu is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
