Say hi to Lucy. This sweet Terrier mix loves to play and take long walks. (She also likes a tasty pup cup.)

Lucy has been at the shelter since December.

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Lucy, a seven to eight-year-old female Terrier mix.

“Lucy loves to go on walks, play with toys and snuggle,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“She also likes pup cups and riding in cars.”

Lucy is a sweet girl that loves to bark. She is potty and crate-trained and does well when left alone.

“She is very weary of new people and will try to hide from them,” Serena said.

“She is not good with other dogs or cats, so would do best as an only pet. She does not like to be grabbed or picked up, so she would probably do best in a home with no small children.”

Lucy is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Window is a one to two-year-old male domestic shorthair.

“He came in as a stray and was never reclaimed,” Serena said. “This very handsome boy is a little shy, but is learning to enjoy all the attention.”

Window is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
