Say hi to Lola and Marcy. They are up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.
This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Lola, a two to three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix.
“She is a very large, sweet girl that loves affection,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “It would probably be best if she is the only dog in the home.”
Lola does need work on a leash because she tends to pull. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and is microchipped.
“Lola is heart worm positive, but has started a slow kill treatment,” Serena said. “Her adoptive family will need to discuss further treatment with their vet.”
Marcy is a two-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“She is a very sweet cat that loves attention,” Serena said. “She will follow you around and likes to be held.”
Marcy seems to enjoy other cats, but is not sure about dogs.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
If you would like to meet Lola, Marcy or the other 55 dogs and 47 cats that currently need homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
