The second installment of the Pickers and Poets song swap series with Jon Young has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5.

The series is hosted by Craig Clifford, co-editor of Pickers and Poets: The Ruthlessly Poetic Singer-Songwriters of Texas, and features song swaps between Clifford and Texas singer-songwriters carrying on the great tradition starting by folks like Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark.

The concerts are held in the Chapel on the Bosque on the grounds of the Stephenville Historical House Museum. Thanks to a number of sponsors (Texstar Ford, First Financial Bank, Tarleton State University, Ace Dowell Hardware and the Thirsty Armadillos Brewing Club), the concerts are free, as are refreshments, including craft beer provided by the Thirsty Armadillos and wines from local wineries.

Proceeds from the sale of Pickers and Poets will benefit the museum. Donations are also accepted.
