Two of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society are Lucy and Purd, a sweet, bonded pair of nine to 10-year-old females looking for a forever home.
“These two came to us due to housing issues, but their loving, affectionate personalities have never changed,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“They adore attention, enjoy being close to their people and find comfort in each other every day. Their bond is strong, so they need to be adopted as a pair.”
Lucy and Purd are declawed and must be indoor-only cats, where they can stay safe and cozy.
Both girls are spayed, microchipped and vaccinated (rabies will need updating).

Kuchi Kopi is a two to three-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a goofy grin and love for toys and a good game of fetch.
“This sweet boy was found as a stray and never reclaimed, but he hasn't let that dull his happy spirit,” Serena said.
Kuchi Kopi adores attention, walks well on a leash and appears to be potty trained - making him an easy addition to the right home.
He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention.
