One man shot, another detained in altercation just off FM 3025.
Investigators with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office are trying to determine what led to a shooting Friday afternoon at a location off FM 3025.
“We don’t know a lot about what happened yet because it’s very early on in the investigation,” Sheriff Matt Coates said. “What we do know is that two men got into an altercation and one of them shot the other.”
No arrests have been made, but a person of interest has been detained and is being questioned by investigators.
The victim’s status is not known.
