Newton’s Saddlerack hosting ‘Boots, bottles and bites.’ Purchase your tickets now.

Newton’s Saddlerack in downtown Stephenville is hosting a unique event that brings California’s wine country to Erath County.
“Boots, bottles and bites” takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with dinner service beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The bar opens at 4 p.m. for pre-dinner cocktails.
“We’re teaming up with La Lomita Wines for an unforgettable evening of fabulous wines, exceptional food and a whole lot of Saddlerack hospitality,” Melanie Newton told Beneath the Surface News.
“Chef Newton and our culinary team are pulling out all the stops with a specially curated four-course dinner.”
The menu includes chili-coffee-rubbed lamb lollipop with mushroom risotto, haricots verts and heirloom tomato salad, pan-seared duck breast or steak picanha and pumpkin cheesecake with cayenne-candied pecan caramel.
And, of course, four beautiful wines from La Lomita, thoughtfully selected to complement every savory course, beginning with a welcoming splash of Albariño.
“We’re making this one a communal seating experience, because great wine and wonderful food are even better when shared around the table,” Melanie said.
Advance tickets are required and you’ll select your entrée at the time of purchase.
Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased here.
