New ‘pay what you can’ program helps individuals receive the counseling services they need.

ChaseWell, Inc, an advocate for mental health across the nation, has announced a partnership with The Gathering Place to make mental health services more accessible for those in need through the introduction of a "pay what you can counseling" program.

With the "pay what you can" model, individuals can access professional counseling at a rate they can afford, and ChaseWell will cover the remaining cost, ensuring that no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

In addition, ChaseWell hopes to raise enough funding to provide an administrative person to manage the growing team of volunteers and support groups at The Gathering Place.

The partnership also includes plans to utilize the gym space at The Gathering Place for additional mental health services and a variety of activities and support groups.

"We are excited to partner with The Gathering Place in this vital effort to address the mental health crisis in our community," said Kevin Miles, executive director of ChaseWell.

"By removing financial barriers and expanding access to care, we are making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
