More than 40 vendors taking part in this upcoming wedding expo at the Big Red Barn Event Center.

If a wedding is in your near future, make plans to attend a wedding expo at the Big Red Barn Wedding & Event Center in Stephenville on Sunday, May 1.

Megan Lutrick, a wedding coordinator/owner of V6 Ranch Weddings and Events, is hosting the expo with Jacqui Quirl, the venue coordinator at the Big Red Barn Event Center.

“We have at least one vendor from every category of wedding planning,” Megan told Beneath the Surface News.

There will be bartenders, caterers, DJs, bridal shops and tuxedo rentals, florists, bakeries, boutiques, makeup artists, hair salons, spray tanning, jewelers and wedding planners and venues.

There will even be travel agents there to help couples plan the perfect honeymoon.

More than 40 vendors will take part in the expo and it’s not too late to add your name to the list if you want to get involved.

The wedding expo’s theme – A Day at the Derby – will add to the fun with a fashion show at 2 and 4 p.m. featuring Best Homemade Hat, Best Purchased Hat and Best Overall Derby Outfit.

There will also be numerous giveaways throughout the day and a drawing for door prizes every 15 minutes from 1-6 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by clicking here. (They can also be purchased at the door.)

Vendors can sign up to participate for $75.

The first 100 brides that come through the door will get a swag bag.

“This event isn’t just for brides,” Jacqui said. “This would benefit anyone planning any kind of event.”
