Meet Chantilly; this sweet cat just wants to cuddle.

Chantilly

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Chantilly, a two-year-old female domestic shorthair.

“Chantilly is extremely sweet and loves attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“She loves to cuddle and be held occasionally, but will jump out of your arms when she’s had enough. She loves to lounge around, but gets excited when someone comes into the room.”

Other cats seem to disrupt her peace and she will hiss and slap at them.

Chantilly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.

Cletus is a gentle giant.

“This thick boy absolutely adores people and is a very lovable guy,” Serena said.

He seems to be dog friendly, but would much rather spend time with people.

“Cletus loves going on walks, but does pull on his leash some,” Serena said. “He prefers being inside and loves to snuggle.”

Cletus is neutered, partially vaccinated (still needs rabies), heartworm negative and on prevention.

He has been at the shelter since early March.
