Lida’s Bakery donating Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. Here’s how to apply for help.

If things are a little tight this year and you’re struggling to purchase what you need for Thanksgiving dinner, Lida’s Bakery is offering to help.

Manager Michelle Pierce said every year the bakery donates a large meal to a family in need, and this year, they can help even more.

“When we advertised it on our Facebook page, three customers donated large meals and two customers donated a small meal to help those that need a hand up this year,” Michelle told Beneath the Surface News.

“It's such a wonderful thing and has made us extremely grateful for the wonderful people in our lives.”

If you or someone you know could use a little help with Thanksgiving dinner, call Lida’s at 254-965-2464, message them on Facebook or stop by the bakery, located at 1111 W. Frey Street in Stephenville, by Friday, Nov. 21.

Lida’s is open from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
