Before early voting in the Primary Election gets underway on Feb. 17, Beneath the Surface News is slated to release a series of Candidate Q&As beginning Sunday.
Participating candidates running in the March 3 Republican Primary responded to several questions pertaining to their race and office they are seeking.
The responses will be published exactly as they were submitted by each candidate.
Here is the schedule:
Sunday, Feb 8: Albert Ray, (incumbent) for Erath County commissioner, precinct 2.
Monday, Feb 9: Dale Spurlen, (challenger) for Erath County commissioner, precinct 2.
Wednesday, Feb. 10: Melissa Ferguson, (challenger) for Erath County Justice of the Peace, precincts 1, 3 and 4.
Thursday, Feb. 11: David Martin, (incumbent) for Erath County Justice of the Peace, precinct 2.
Q&As will be published by 9 a.m. each day.
Early voting will be held Feb. 17-27.
Election Day is Tuesday, March 3.
