Dr. Clayton Roberts and his staff have been named May’s Hometown Hero, a program sponsored by Farmers Insurance agent Leslie Walker.
The group was presented with a certificate of appreciation and basket of goodies this week.
The medical team was nominated for the award by a patient battling Multiple Sclerosis.
“Dr. Roberts is kind and considerate. He listens carefully to my concerns and responds with compassion. I never feel rushed during our appointments. We have used video visits for the majority of our conversations these past seven months because of complications with my Multiple Sclerosis and my being unable to get into the car to go to the clinic.
“He made a home visit to accommodate my limitations and health condition. I have full confidence in him as we manage the ever-changing MS mysteries and aggravations.”
That patient went on to say that the staff is “kind and thorough” and always returns calls promptly.
