In the market for a new or used tractor? Vandermeer Diesel is now an authorized dealer.

Pieter Vandermeer knew what he was doing in 2014 when he first opened his business repairing ag and farm equipment.

Erath County is, after all, the dairy capital of the world so there was no shortage of tractors that needed to be fixed or parts that needed to be replaced.

Pieter’s dream of owning his own business started when he was a kid growing up on a dairy farm in Hico.

After graduating from high school, he attended TSTC in Waco before opening Vandermeer Diesel Equipment Services.

Today, the once small repair shop is now a certified dealer with Deutz-Fahr, LS Tractor, Laird and McHale.

“We became a dealership this year,” marketing director TrudiAnne Vandermeer told Beneath the Surface News. “We sell new and used tractors and genuine parts.”

If you’re in the market for a new tractor, stop by Vandermeer Diesel, located between Stephenville and Dublin on U.S. Hwy. 377, to browse its wide-selection of inventory.

“We have competitive pricing and also carry implements like shredders, tillers and box blades,” Pieter said.

Customer financing is also available.

Vandermeer Diesel services all types of ag equipment and heavy machinery.

In fact, the company is in the process of expanding its repair shop.

“The new shop is more than 10,000 square feet and will hold three times the amount of equipment we can currently service,” Pieter said.

Vandermeer Diesel is now hiring experienced mechanics.

It’s open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday.
