Nothing says spring like a light, delicious slice of lemon bread.

This easy recipe for a lemon loaf will make a beautiful addition to your Easter table.

WHAT YOU NEED
Â
1 1/2 cups flour
Â
1 1/2 tsp baking powderÂ
Â
1/2 tsp saltÂ
Â
Zest of lemonÂ
Â
1/2 cup (1 stick) of salted butterÂ
Â

1 cup sugarÂ
Â
2 eggs (room temperature)Â
Â
1 tsp vanillaÂ
Â
Juice from lemonÂ
Â
1/2 cup whole milkÂ
Â
Dash of white vinegarÂ

HOW TO MAKE IT
Â
Sift flour, powder, salt and zest.
Â
In mixer, cream sugar and butter; add eggs one at a time and vanilla.
Â
In cup, add vinegar, lemon juice and milk.
Â
Alternate adding flour and milk mixture into creamed mixture.
Â
Once combined pour into parchment paper lined loaf pan.
Â
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
