One of Stephenville’s most festive events of the season – Holly Jolly Christmas – is coming to town on Monday, Dec. 11.

The annual event, sponsored by the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the downtown square and plaza.

“We are excited this year to welcome the 77th Army Band, a group of 18 professional musicians, presenting their ‘Home for the Holidays’ concert with all your big band favorites,” Chamber president July Danley told Beneath the Surface News.

“The Chamber wants to extend a huge thanks to our generous sponsors, numerous non-profits providing activities, amazing volunteers and fabulous city of Stephenville staff for helping us bring this holiday festival to the community.”

The fun will include pictures with Santa, a live Nativity, horse-drawn carriage rides, petting zoo, letters to Santa, cookie decorating, Christmas crafts, games and holiday gift vendors.

Performances on the Plaza Stage include:

7:15 p.m. - Stephenville Dance Center

7:45 p.m. - Red Hat Steppers

8 p.m. - Crazy Christmas Game Show
