Chamber of Commerce now taking applications for its 2024-25 Leadership Stephenville program.

It’s been more than 15 years since I completed the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce’s annual leadership program.
I was part of the Leadership Stephenville Class of 2008 and little did I know at the time that my participation would end with tons of happy memories, lasting friendships and valuable information that would serve me well in my career as a journalist.
Leadership Stephenville is a program sponsored by the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce that challenges participants to make a difference in their community while preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Participants take part in nine full-day sessions focused on developing leadership skills and gaining a better understanding of local infrastructure, city government and volunteer associations.
Each class works together on a project that will benefit the community.
Taking part in Leadership Stephenville was one of the most worthwhile experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t encourage you enough to apply.
The Chamber is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 class. The deadline to apply is Aug. 12.
