Tarleton State’s Erath Engaged to host virtual rural mental health summit on July 31.

Erath Engaged will host its first virtual rural mental health summit over Zoom at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31.

 

The summit will spotlight mental health concerns in rural areas through interactive and engaging activities and introduce rural mental health statistics through an interactive trivia challenge. 



The Erath Engaged team will also reflect on mental health challenges and opportunities from a student perspective and end with an EMS representative who will highlight the various mental health approaches utilized by rural emergency departments.

New and seasoned faculty and staff can benefit from the student panel and the general information focused rural mental health.


Community members can benefit from the rural mental health statistics and the mental health response services available in the Erath County community.
