Here’s what’s cooking: Erath County United Way gears up for annual fish fry.
If you have never enjoyed a hot plate of fish prepared by the men of the Knights of Columbus, you are missing out.
And if you’re a regular of the Erath County United Way’s annual fish fry, you know what I’m talking about.
The fish is perfectly battered and cooked to perfection along with all those delicious sides.
If that’s enough to make your mouth water, mark your calendar for Wednesday, Aug. 17, when the organization hosts its annual fundraiser.
You can purchase a plate of fish for $12 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Newman Hall in Stephenville.
"This is always a fun event and we appreciate the Knights of Columbus who always do the cooking for us,” ECUW board member Shelley Gilliland told Beneath the Surface News.
Tickets can be purchased at the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce and sponsoring banks, which include First Financial, Members Trust, Wellington State Bank, First National Bank, TexasBank, F&M, and InterBank.
Plates can also be purchased on the night of the event.
