Hang with Rudolph during the Zonta Club’s festive 5K/one-mile fun run coming in December.

The Zonta Club is hosting a festive run this holiday season at Stephenville City Park and it’s not too early to register.
The Zonta Club Run with Rudolph 5K and One-Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. (Check-in 7:30-8:15 a.m.)
“This is our third year to host the run,” club member Lisa Pence told Beneath the Surface News. “The number of participants has grown and we hope to have over 100 this year.
“The money raised is what we use to fund scholarships. We have seven scholarships at the high school level and three at Tarleton State University. We also use the money to make donations to local organizations like Meals on Wheels and Backpack Buddies.”
Advance registration is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the one-mile run. An additional $5 will be added to the cost of race-day registration.
