From drug possession and theft to harassment of a public servant; Erath County grand jury indicts 14.

The following report is from Erath County District Attorney Alan Nash’s office and includes a full list of May’s indictments.


On Thursday, the Erath County grand jury indicted 14 people on a variety of charges:

 

 

• Brandon Nathaniel Arndt for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon (enhanced) and possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (4-200G) (enhanced).


• Crystal Lee Bates for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (1-4G).

 

• Cindy Flores for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (1-4G) (enhanced).

 

• Amber Marie Gregory for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (1-4G).

 

 

• Zachary Alan Hinds for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (1-4G).


• Raegan Michelle Johnson for harassment of a public servant.

 

• Thomas Maurice Johnson for manufacture or delivery of a substance in penalty group 1(1-4G).

 

• Dean Allen Lewis for two counts of failure to comply with registration requirements (enhanced).


 

• Francisco Leyva for theft ($2,500<$30k), forgery ($2,500<$30,000), fraudulent use or possession of identifying information (>5 items), forgery ($750<$2,500), theft ($2,500<$30k) and theft (>$300k).

 

• Christopher Dale Maberry for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (1-4G).

 

• Norris Star McAnally for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (1-4G).

 

• Mark David Newton for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (4-200G).

 

• Trevor Allen Riley Sellers for possession of substance in penalty group 1 and prohibited substance in correctional facility.

 

• Racheal Renee Wilborn for possession of a substance in penalty group 1 (4-200G).

The article provides fairly direct information about the indictments this month, clearly showing the role of the grand jury in handling cases in Erath County. I think news reports like this are important because they help the community keep track of security and law enforcement. After reading such heavy content, relaxing with a game like Sprunky is quite nice.
