Forum to give voters chance to meet candidates for Erath County commissioner, justice of the peace.

Voters will get the chance to hear from candidates running for county commissioner and justice of the peace when the Erath County Republican Party hosts a forum at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Legacy Center in Stephenville.
Carla Trussell, one of the event organizers, said all local candidates running in the March 3 Primary have agreed to participate.
The event is free and open to the public.

Justice of the Peace for precincts, 1, 3 and 4
Chili Alexander – incumbent
Melissa Ferguson – challenger
Justice of the Peace for precinct 2
David Martin – incumbent
Dionicia Azua - challenger
Commissioner Precinct 2
Albert Ray – incumbent
Dale Spurlen – challenger
David Bays – challenger

Early voting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Friday, Feb. 27.
