Exploring the charm of Bee Happy Baked Goods in Rising Star.

By Laura Calhoun

Coffee, pastries, sweets and cute southern charm. What more could you ask for?

I was so happy when I stumbled upon Bee Happy Baked Goods in Rising Star, TX. My first experience with them came when ordering cookies for our twins‘ COVID birthday.

We picked up 2 dozen expertly decorated cookies for our little barbie and ninja turtle.

We have since been back to try several different items from their menu and have loved them all. They serve all types of coffee from Americanos to frozen lattes. I would suggest you try the house sweet cream! We recently took a family outing to the bakery for an evening treat.

While most of their savory food is saved for breakfast, they had pizza ready for the kids in a matter of minutes. We were greeted with a friendly smile and a small town, welcoming environment.

Our children were able to pick from several cute and delicious cookies prepackaged and ready to go. My daughter captured all of our sentiments when she said “Can we always come back here and get yummy cookies?”

My husband and I selected a sampling of baked goods to try. His favorite was a large brownie square with caramel chips. I have to say that the brown sugar scone paired perfectly with my evening coffee. The bakery has a cute dining area with small tables and chairs. It would be the perfect setting for old friends catching up, a coffee date or just taking your children for a treat like we did.

They have many breakfast options to choose from. I look forward to a time we can make it back to try more from the menu.

The family run business also specializes in cakes and cookies for order. I can attest that the cookies taste as good, if not better, than they look.

The bakery/coffee shop is located in an adorable old house one block off the main highway through Rising Star.

It has all the charms and atmosphere that make for a lovely coffee shop experience.

I would highly recommend looking up the Bee Happy Baked Goods bakery on social media and giving them a call or stopping by the shop!

Our family has added them to our list of go-to’s.
