According to the official complaint obtained by Beneath the Surface News, a detective with the Stephenville Police Department began investigating the case on Oct. 14 when the father of a 16-year-old boy with a learning disability filed a report.

The complaint outlines the graphic nature of the relationship between Slocomb and the victim, stating the two exchanged nude photos and videos and allegedly engaged in at least 100 sexual encounters over the course of more than a year.
