This Thanksgiving, Rough Creek Lodge, Ranch & Resort invites guests to gather in the Texas Hill Country for an unforgettable three-course buffet lunch curated by Executive Chef Gerard Thompson.
Blending rustic elegance with refined Southwestern flavors, the menu features holiday classics elevated by locally inspired ingredients and gourmet flair.
During lunch, a pianist will be performing in the great room, filling the space with delightful melodies.
Guests will be greeted by the new renovations to the great room, restaurant, bar, new private dining room and guest rooms and new guest houses.
They will enjoy starters like oak-grilled sherry maple glazed Texas quail, maine lobster sweet corn chowder and the signature “true harvest” mixed green salad with persimmons, pomegranate and Sorrells Farms candied pecans.
Main courses include oak-roasted free-range turkey with smoked sausage cornbread dressing, mesquite smoked prime rib of beef with Veldhuizen cheddar-poblano potatoes and maple-mustard glazed salmon with butternut squash purée and pomegranate-crab relish.
Dessert is a decadent finale, featuring maple pumpkin cheesecake with cinnamon cream and pecan brittle, dark chocolate “cupcake” layered with mousse and glaze and warm baked apple-cranberry crisp topped with vanilla bean ice cream.
Thanksgiving lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27.

MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR RENOVATION NOW COMPLETE
A multimillion-dollar renovation at Rough Creek Lodge is now complete and offers the perfect setting for adventure, tranquility and inspiration.
The massive renovation included its 64 guest rooms, four exclusive cabins, five opulently appointed guest homes, great room, restaurant and Texas-size board room.
Pickleball courts are now open as well.
