There’s a new place in town that will do wonders for your sweet tooth.
Dulce Panda Creamery opened in early July, and if you haven’t been, you’re going to want to get there as soon as you can.
This whimsical creamery specializes in small batch premium ice cream (think cookie smash and velvet chocolate), fresh waffle cones, milkshakes, malts, affogatos, iced/hot coffees, brownie sundaes, bubble waffles and ice cream sandwiches, cakes and pies.
Dairy free and gluten options are also available.
Owner Robyn Padilla opened her first creamery in Weatherford three years ago.
“That’s where we make all of the ice cream,” she told Beneath the Surface News.
Making ice cream is a big change of pace for Robyn, who spent 20 years in the mortgage and real estate business.
“After Covid, I lost every spark of joy inside of me,” she said.
“The world was moving in a different direction and I needed to find something positive – and when is ice cream not positive?
“It’s a treat. It’s a reward and it’s something people remember going to get with their family.”
You can pick up a refreshing sweet treat to-go or enjoy it at one of the cute, cozy tables nestled inside the creamery.

It’s open from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, 12-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 12-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
