Community invited to take part in Texas flooding relief effort; The Water Shop collecting supplies.

The Water Shop in Stephenville is collecting supplies as part of a coordinated effort with Operation Airdrop to bring relief to victims of recent flooding happening in the Texas Hill Country.
Owner Ricky Thurman told Beneath the Surface News that he will transport the supplies to Burnet on Tuesday.
“Operation Airdrop is a verified non-profit that coordinates with local authorities to distribute supplies to areas most in need and has specific requests,” Ricky said.
As of Sunday, 68 people are dead and 11 are still missing.
No food or clothing is needed at this time, but those who want to help can drop off any of the following items at The Water Shop by noon on Tuesday.
• Mops and brooms
• Chainsaws
• Clorox bleach
• Work and rubber gloves
• Sponges and rags
Contractor trash bags
• Squeegees
• 5-gallon buckets
• General cleaning supplies
• Bug spray
• N95 masks
• Shovels, rakes, hammers
• Rubber boots
• Gatorade and bottled water.
