Buzzi’s Pizzeria (named after Ruth Buzzi) is now open on McNeill Street in Stephenville and its pastrami pizza is already making waves.
Owner Mark Bryant said the new restaurant is dishing up pizza, sandwiches and will soon introduce new pastas.
“Our number one selling pizza is The Texan,” Mark told Beneath the Surface News.
“It’s made with red sauce, buffalo mozzarella, pastrami, sausage, onion, jalapeno and bacon.”
Buzzi’s now has its liquor license and sells a wide range of signature beers for only $4 per glass.
Think Tupps IPA, Vanilla Poter, Texas Light, Hopadillo IPA, Hill County, Lager 1664 and Michelob Ultra.
The restaurant doesn’t sell wine just yet, but it’s coming soon.
Buzzi’s Pizzeria is open from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 5-10 p.m. Friday; 4-10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m-7 p.m. Sunday.
Takeout is also available by calling 227-227-8549.
