An exciting new event that will include serious bull riding action, live music and great food is coming to Erath County on Thursday, April 20.

The inaugural Burnin’ Bull event will take place at the H2O Arena located at 400 CR 499, just outside of Dublin.

Stephenville resident Caitlin Fudge is working with four others to bring the new event to the area.

“David Hansen has graciously donated his facilities and several of his professional bulls to the event,” Fudge told Beneath the Surface News. “Zac Harris, a PBR and PCRA rider and current stock contractor of Burnin' Bull, has put on several past rodeos and has a network of professional bulls and riders.

“Bonner Bolton, a PBR bull rider, now heavily invested in a content-to-consumer market with RankRideTV, will livestream the event.”

The rodeo begins at 7 p.m. and an after-party featuring performances by Ghost Dance Band, Lank & the Shanks, Ruby Slipper and Blackout Burning will take place from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.

Tickets are $20 at the gate.

The BYOB event (no glass bottles) will also include authentic chuckwagon barbecue and crawfish for sale (cash only).

There will also be a raffle benefiting the family of Dublin firefighter Jesse Rollins who died in February.
