As part of Anheuser-Busch’s program to provide emergency drinking water for wildland firefighters, a pallet of water was delivered to Erath County firefighters on Wednesday, Dallas Sims, chief of the Erath County Volunteer Fire Rescue, told Beneath the Surface News.
The brewer teamed up with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) in 2019 to create the program.
“Keeping firefighters hydrated during long incidents or disasters such as wildfires is a critical need for fire departments, yet many volunteer departments struggle with limited budget and resources,” Anheuser-Busch’s website states.
“To help departments meet this need, Anheuser-Busch will donate 1.5 million cans of clean drinking water in 2025 to prepare local volunteer firefighters with vital resources ahead of the annual summer wildfire season, rather than waiting until after disaster strikes.”
More than 10 million cans of water have been distributed to over 3,100 departments across almost all 50 states, totaling nearly $1.3 million in cost savings for local departments.

That’s awesome to hear. Those donated pallets of water probably made a big difference for the Erath County firefighters and the community. It reminds me how important reliable water delivery is, whether that’s for emergencies or everyday use. Speaking of water quality, I was recently reading rainsoft reviews. It makes me think twice about what’s actually coming through my taps, especially when disaster hits.
Great news!
Surah Taghabun is indeed a powerful chapter of the Quran that reminds us of Allah’s complete knowledge and control over all things. It beautifully emphasizes the concept of accountability and the reality of the Day of Judgment. Reflecting on the lessons of Surah Taghabun can truly help strengthen our faith and guide our daily actions.
