Ask for Andrea by Noelle W. Ihli was the perfect atmospheric read to get into the Halloween spirit.

A ghostly tale centered around three women - Meghan, Brecia and Skye – who were murdered by the same man.

The killer was a bad dude. A really bad dude who hunted his victims online, pretending to be an eligible bachelor, though he had a wife and kids at home.

After charming his victims, he lures them to a desolate area and un-alives them.

The killings are graphic, and if you’re the mother of a young woman like I am, it might be hard to stomach.

But it’s the moments after that become riveting; when their souls rise from their bodies and the realization that they’re dead begins to dawn.

It was unsettling.

The women, now ghosts, struggle with coming to terms with their deaths, watching their bodies decay, their families mourn and their murderer search for his next victim.

Then, they find each other and turn their attention to stopping the man who killed them.

I liked this book. It was a thriller I found interesting since it was told from the perspective of the victims, but it could have been better.

I wish the ghosts had the power to really antagonize the man who killed them. I think that would have upped the entertainment value.

What did you think?

One who likes a fast-paced thriller and can make it through difficult scenes.

This might be a hard book for anyone who has lost a child.

This was my first book from this author and I loved her writing style. The book weaved a complicated story into a tale that was easy to follow.

4. If you could ask the author one question about this book, what would it be?

What happened to Meghan, Brecia and Skye after their cases were solved?

5. Rate this book on a scale of 1 to 10.

Overall, I give it a 7.
