A $100 million project is bringing 350 single-family homes in gated community to Stephenville.
A project involving the construction of 350 single-family homes got the green light to move forward when it was approved by the Stephenville City Council on Tuesday.
La Paloma will be located on 94 acres at the corner of Pigeon Road in Stephenville (across from the feed store).
The 350 hacienda-style homes will include white stucco walls, heavy timber porches, clay tile roofs and architectural windows.
The $100 million project, developed by Cole and Kaylee Parks with Chisholm Trail Developments, will cater to young professionals, empty-nesters and those looking to down-size.
The gated community will include a club house, fitness center, walking trails, community room and bodega, which will sell essential groceries like milk, eggs and fresh, pre-made meals.
“This project will address Stephenville’s housing shortage and give people a nice place to live without having a mortgage,” Cole told Beneath the Surface News.
La Paloma will include a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes with various floor plans available.
Construction on the project will begin immediately and homes will be available for lease by August 2025.
