3-time MasterChef contestant Cate Meade coming to Newton’s Saddlerack for special dining event.

Chef Cate Meade is coming to Stephenville this week to show off her culinary skills during a special dining event at Newton’s Saddlerack.
On Instagram @wildwoodschef, Meade describes herself as a personal chef, avid conservationist and hunter “connecting people to the earth with food.”
She will serve as a guest chef during a special four-course dinner at Newton’s beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
Dinner will include bacon caesar salad, cream of wild shroom soup, mushroom rubbed venison filet, pommes purée, grilled oyster mushrooms, fried kale and a mulberry and red wine reduction followed by spiced apple cake, bourbon chile caramel sauce, macerated apple slaw and vanilla bean chantilly cream.
Tickets can be purchased here for $100 each.
“My great friend Jason Wang, a MasterChef finalist and now host of his own show, Jason on Mission on Fox Taiwan, will be joining us in the kitchen for this truly once in a lifetime dining opportunity,” Chef Mike Newton told Beneath the Surface News. “It’s going to be a fantastic night.”
