The exhibition will be on display in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Gallery Sept. 4-26.

Willingham is an assistant professor of art at Baylor University.

Focusing on women’s identity and self-image in a contemporary world, the artist uses cyanotype portraiture to examine history, nature vs. nurture and our internalized obsession with appearance.

“The physical interaction in the creation of each piece provides a ritual outlet and space to meditate on the connection between the artist and the artwork and how each piece embodies a facet of my identity,” Willingham said.

The artist will also be giving a lecture at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in the Health Science Human Services Building.

The You Threaded Me. exhibit beautifully explores women’s identity and self-image through creative expression, highlighting how art can challenge perception and celebrate individuality. This thoughtful approach mirrors the evolving landscape of digital learning and creativity, where reflection and innovation go hand in hand. In many ways, Online Marketing Class Help represents the broader shift toward empowerment, understanding, and connection in modern educational and artistic spaces.

This “You Threaded Me” exhibit powerfully examines identity, self-image, and how societal norms shape perceptions — themes that are deeply relevant not just in art, but in education too. In the USA, students often face pressure to conform in writing, research, or even the way they structure assignments. That’s where Assignment Help USA can play a thoughtful role: helping students find and use their authentic voice, ensuring their work reflects their ideas and identity, not just superficial expectations. Great to see art like this opening space for self‑reflection; it’s a reminder that academic work should do more than check boxes — it should express who we are.
