Two men are dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide that took place about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Linda Lane in Stephenville.
The SPD released a statement shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday stating that officers responded to a shooting at 9:39 p.m.
Upon arrival, they “located two adult males outside a residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.”
Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
“There is no ongoing threat to the public,” the release states.
The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
