Two-day auction includes 300 acres of land, cars, equipment and tools. Here's what you need to know.
Alliance Auction and Realty is hosting a live two-day auction on Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12, that will include land in Erath County totaling more than 300 acres, classic cars, equipment and tools.
The David White ranch real estate auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the main residence located at 7435 CR 265 in Dublin.
"The property that’s for sale is indicative of southern Erath County ranch land; gently rolling with native trees and grasses, 27 acres of cultivation and about 6 acres of improved coastal grasses,” auctioneer/broker Brent Graves told Beneath the Surface News.
The land will be offered in three tracts, which can be purchased individually or in any combination.
Tract 1 includes the main residence, more than 40 acres of land and a 60 x 40-foot barn.
The four-bedroom, three-bath, two-story home includes 2,304 square feet of living space. Other features include a limestone fireplace, open kitchen with island bar and walk-in closets.
Tract 2 includes more than 140 acres of land (27 acres of cultivation and 45 of native grass suitable for grazing) and a large pond for livestock water. The south end of the property is heavily wooded, making it a great place to hunt wildlife.
Tract 3 includes more than 131 acres with approximately 50 of those suited for livestock and two small ponds. The southwest corner of the property is also heavily wooded.
The auction of White’s personal property will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and last until the final item is sold.
The sale will include a 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air, 1937 Ford Coupe RestoMod, ATVs, chuckwagon, tools, livestock accessories and much more.
