Three injured in Erath County shooting; 17-year-old suspect apprehended.
Three people were injured in a shooting at a residence off State Highway 108 in Erath County Friday night in what authorities say began as a domestic disturbance.
Information from the Erath County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the scene on June 14 and found three individuals, including a juvenile, injured in an apparent shooting.
The suspect, identified as 17-year-old Diego Delacruz, fled the scene, but was apprehended by law enforcement a short time later.
Delacruz was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence.
The victims are being treated at various hospitals.
This case will be turned over to the Erath County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
