This week’s featured pets include an aging male dog that needs a comfy, loving home.

Fresno

Say hi to Fresno and Marbles. They are this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society.

Fresno is a 10-year-old male Red Heeler/Shar-Pei mix.

“He is housebroken and walks well on a leash,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He is very calm and quiet; we have not heard him bark since he got here.”

Because of his age, Fresno has some sight issues, but he is neutered and microchipped.

“This sweet, older male needs a home with a comfy bed and lots of love and attention,” Serena said.

Marbles

Marbles is a six-month-old male kitten that likes to snuggle and play.

He is also microchipped and litter box trained.

You can meet Fresno, Marbles and the other 62 dogs, 41 cats and two guinea pigs that need homes by visiting the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
