Say hi to Smoke Show!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Smoke Show, a one-year-old female Heeler mix.

“This sweet girl was terrified when she first came in, but she has been in foster care and is doing so good,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“She is still a little timid around new people, but warms up quick. She loves to lay on the couch and sleep in a bed. Her favorite thing is playing outside. She doesn't run off and comes when called.

"She gets along with the foster family’s other dogs and likes helping with chores.”

Smoke Show loves riding in cars and is doing very well potty training.

She is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped.

She has been at the shelter since March.

Lion King and Beetlejuice are 3-month-old male domestic short-haired kittens.

“These little guys were bottle babies, so are very socialized,” Serena said. “They have been around other cats and dogs and are playful and sweet.”

Beetlejuice is noticeably more outgoing than his brother; Lion King is a bit more chill.

These cuties are pending neuter and a rabies shot, but have received their FVRCP kitten shots.

They are also microchipped and litter box trained.
