This week’s featured pets include a temperamental Munchkin cat and big, lovable dog.
This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Tank, a two-year-old male Munchkin cat that can be a little temperamental.
“He very much dislikes other cats, so needs to be the only one,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He likes people as long as other cats are not around.”
A Munchkin is a relatively new breed of cat characterized by its very short legs.
Tank is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
The animal shelter is taking applications to adopt Tank.
Bowser is a two-year-old male American Bully mix that also needs a new home.
“He is a sweet, lovable bulldozer,” Serena said. “He seems to love everyone and was fostered with female dogs and did well.”
Bowser is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and on prevention.
If you would like to meet Tank, Bowser or the other 60 dogs and 83 cats that need permanent homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
