Scooby-Doo

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Scooby-Doo, a three to four-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix.

“He is a sweet boy that is very people-friendly,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He is great with kids and gets along with other dogs.”

Scooby-Doo is neutered, microchipped, housebroken and crate-trained.

“He is a serious fence jumper,” Serena said. “He can jump privacy fences, chain links fences, rolling pipe and barbed wire topped fences. Perimeter fences don’t work either so he needs to be supervised when he is outside or taken out on a leash.”

Sasha

Sasha is a two-year-old male cat that likes a big, soft bed.

“He is very handsome, but is a typical cat because he likes things his way,” Serena said.

Sasha isn’t a cuddler and should not be around small children, dogs or other cats.

To meet Scooby-Doo, Sasha and other pets up for adoption, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
