Say hi to JP!
Say hi to JP!

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is JP, a nine to 10-month-old male kitten.

“He was found as a stray and has quickly blossomed into a friendly, lovable companion,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.

“He's curious, social, loves people, enjoys car rides and wants to be part of whatever you're doing.”

JP enjoys hanging out with dogs and may do well with a canine friend, though he can get a bit enthusiastic during play, especially with smaller pups.

How he’ll mingle with other cats is unknown.

When he's not playing or exploring, JP loves curling up in a cozy bed and never turns down a tasty serving of wet food.

“He's the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly comfort,” Serena said.

JP is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and litter box trained.

Wayleen is an energetic one to two-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix.

“She is smart, active and full of personality,” Serena said.

“She loves people, car rides, treats and being part of the action.”

Wayleen is housebroken, crate trained and does well when left alone.

Wayleen is all smiles.

“She's looking for an active home where she can be the only pet and continue learning manners,” Serena said.

“With her food motivation and eagerness to please, she'll thrive with continued training and adventure.”

Wayleen is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative and on prevention.
