This sweet girl was surrendered by her owner and is very nervous at the shelter.

Tootsie

One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Tootsie, a three to four-year-old female Aussie/Heeler mix.

“She is a really shy, sweet girl and is nervous at the shelter because it is a new environment,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “She was surrendered due to her owner's health.

“We believe Tootsie would thrive in a quiet home with a yard because she loves being outside. Once she is comfortable with people, she loves body scratches.”

Tootsie is housebroken, crate-trained and walks well on a leash.

Her previous owner said she chased cats and chickens, but never harmed them, but it’s probably best if she is an only pet.

Tootsie is spayed, partially vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.

Lilliput is a two to three-year-old female domestic shorthair Calico.

“She came to us from a cruelty case with 10 other animals. She is a very sweet girl that enjoys attention,” Serena said. “She is a very active kitty, so would love a family that will play with her.”

Lilliput is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litterbox trained.
